Cebu has beaches, heritage churches and lechon, but if you are traveling with kids, one stop deserves a full afternoon: Cebu Ocean Park. Billed by the park itself as the largest oceanarium in the Philippines, it sits inside the SM Seaside complex in Cebu City, and it packs jungle rivers, reptiles, birds, coral reefs, jellyfish and penguins into one walk.
We brought the whole family and filmed everything from start to finish. Here is what to expect, how much the entrance fee is in 2026, and a few tips we learned along the way.
Cebu Ocean Park Entrance Fee (2026)
This is the question we get the most on our YouTube channel, so here are the rates from the park’s official website as of October 2026:

| Online promo (book in advance) | ₱750 | ₱900 |
| Regular / walk-in | ₱800 | ₱1,000 |
- Kids: children under 3 ft tall get in free. Kids 3 ft and taller pay the same rate as adults.
- Seniors and PWDs: 20% off the regular (walk-in) rate. The discount can’t be combined with the online promo.
- Hours: open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. The last ticket is sold at 5 PM.

Rates can change without notice, so check the official Cebu Ocean Park website before you go. Booking online is the easiest way to save.
The Jungle and River Trail
The visit starts outdoors in a jungle-themed trail with stone ruins, waterfalls and freshwater tanks. It feels like walking through a rainforest temple, and the kids were running from one tank to the next.

The river tanks hold some huge freshwater fish. Signs along the way introduce the giant arapaima, red tail catfish, alligator gar, Atlantic tarpon and giant mottled eel, so it doubles as a mini science lesson.

Reptiles After Dark
Next is a dim walkway with a starry ceiling where the reptiles live: geckos, snakes and other cold-blooded residents in glowing terrariums. It’s a nice change of pace from the bright outdoor trail.

Lorikeets and the Rooftop Garden
From there you climb into the bird area, where colorful lorikeets fly around and perch right beside the walkway. The park also offers lorikeet feeding, so ask about the schedule if your kids want to get closer.

Seven Seas: Coral Reefs Up Close
Inside the Seven Seas gallery, the lights go down and the colors come up. Glowing coral reef tanks, tall cylinder aquariums and an exhibit about coral bleaching show how fragile reefs are. This was one of our favorite parts for learning.

Open-Air Pools and Photo Spots
Out on the open-air deck there are big shaded pools where you can look down at the fish, plus plenty of photo spots. Of course we stopped for a family picture.

Don’t miss the giant whale shark bench, one of the best photo spots in the park. There is also an ice cream kiosk nearby if the kids need a cold treat.

The Oceanarium and Main Tank
The highlight is the Oceanarium. Dolphin statues welcome you at the entrance, and inside is the main tank gallery: a huge curved window with sharks, rays and big schools of fish swimming past.

Find a spot on the benches and just watch for a while. If you time it right, you can catch the main tank feeding.
Lunch With a View: Aqua Dining
Right beside the main tank is Aqua Dining, which the park calls the only underwater dining experience in Cebu. Every table faces the giant aquarium window, so lunch comes with a show.

Jellyfish and “The Science of the Glow Below”
After the main tank, the jellyfish gallery feels like another world. Moon jellyfish drift under shifting lights, and the glow-in-the-dark mural hall, “The Science of the Glow Below,” explains how deep-sea creatures make their own light.

Nearby there are exhibits on deep-sea fish and the threats our oceans face, like pollution and global warming. Good conversation starters for the ride home.
Penguins, Penguin Cafe and the Souvenir Shop
Near the end you will meet the penguins in their icy habitat, with signs explaining penguin anatomy and how they survive in the cold.

Right after is a penguin-themed cafe serving frozen yogurt and drinks. It’s a good place to rest before the last stop: the souvenir shop, full of shark, dolphin and clownfish plush toys.
